Jazzercise is out. Zumba is in. But Jazzercise Instructor Kelsea Wiggan is not going down without a fight. Armed with pep, a petition, and her sidekick and Associate Instructor, MJ Fray, Kelsea is determined to keep her Jazzercise class at The Chikatawnee Valley Community Center alive. Will Zumba win out or will Kelsea save her Jazzercise class from extinction? THE JAZZERCISE PLAY is an exploration of what happens when you’ve invested your time, money, and life into a dying franchise that needs resuscitation. For a struggling entrepreneur, sometimes your problems become too big to just sweat out.

The Jazzercise Play is a real class happening in real time. Along with the standard audience seating, a select number of tickets will be made available each performance for audience members wanting to take the class. Students of the class must wear proper workout attire.

|the claque| spotl!ght actor fellowship redefines how actors advance.

spotl!ght is a new kind of fellowship designed to launch promising New York stage actors to the next level of their careers, one actor at a time.  Combining skills development, financial support, coaching, networking, and field research, and culminating with an evening-length performance of original work built around the actor’s strengths, spotl!ght breaks the mold of how actors get ahead.

Every year, |the claque| will select one New York stage actor of exceptional promise who is determined to be on the cusp of “breaking out”.  We will work closely with this actor to identify and ultimately achieve a set of specific career and creative goals.  Unlike other actor training programs, spotl!ght puts the actor in the driver’s seat, and provides him or her with all the support of a professional producing conglomerate.
