In the possibly not so distant future, The Shift has left America has divided into two territories; one is governed by a set of liberal laws, the other, conservative. The central government now exists in an entirely neutral territory, known as The Middle. It is here that lawyers from opposite territories, and opposite sides of a terrorism case, are forced to re-evaluate their loyalties.

Megan Sass (Playwright) is thrilled to be working with The Claque for the first time. As a playwright, she has worked with  Vagabond Theater Ensemble, Extra Pulp Ensemble (with whom her play Fanboy was a finalist in the Samuel French OOB Restival), Boz and the Bard, Grizzled Bear Productions, LeftHip Productions (winner of their From the Hip Festival), and Shstrng Prdctns. As an actor, she has worked with International WOW (as part of the cast of Surrender, nominated for a Drama Desk for “Best Unique Theatrical Experience), The Public Theater, Odyssey Theatricals, Collaborative Stages, Shstrng Productions, Syracuse Stage, The Williamstown Theater Festival, and the Iron Mule Comedy Short Festival. She also performs musical stand-up, and blogs for Heeb Magazine. She is a company member of Storahtelling.

S. Quincy Beard (Literary Manager/QuaDs Workshop Leader 2011) is a writer, director and actor with a penchant for that which is thought provoking and action initiating. In New York she has directed and acted in various productions with  The Collective and in her native North Carolina has worked with Manbites Dog Theater, Temple Theatre and forum + function. A proud graduate of the William Esper Studio, she lives in the theater and sleeps in Brooklyn.

Krista Amigone (Jennifer Sole) is an actress and writer.  She studies with Karen Chamberlain.  She is married to Kyle.

Meghan O’Neill (Eucalyptus Ringer) was a member of  the inaugural class of The Guthrie Actor Training program in Minneapolis, MN.  Her show ‘Fraidy Cat: A (sort of) Solo Show  was featured in The Women in Comedy Festival, New York Sketchfest, Ars Nova ANT fest and The Charleston Comedy Festival. She co-hosts the monthly TONY critic’s pick: Kings County Comedy Hour with Matt Koff. Meghan is a proud member of The Story Pirates where she is an actor, director and producer. She has appeared as a performerThe Utah Shakespeare Festival, The Guthrie Theater, UCB NY and UCB LA. She is currently understudying Nina Raine’s Tribes directed by David Cromer at Barrow Street Theater.

Jared Szafman (Stephen Mathis) is a New York actor who has appeared in theatre, film and television in New York City and throughout the east coast.  He studied theatre at the University of Virginia and trained as an actor at the William Esper Studio in Manhattan.
